Woman, 36, who died from COVID-19, gave birth while struggling to live at GMH

The 36-year-old woman who recently died at Guam Memorial Hospital from coronavirus complications left behind three very young children, including a baby she gave birth to at Guam Memorial Hospital while she was struggling to live through her COVID-19 infection.


The deceased woman's brother in law confirmed to Kandit News that she is survived by a four year old, a two year old, and an infant, who is less than a month old.


The woman, who was admitted for COVID-19 hospitalization in early January, gave birth to her youngest child in February while she was being hospitalized for the virus. The woman died this past weekend.


The baby is in quarantine, according to a source of information.
