Two weather systems are developing east of the Mariana Islands, with several global models showing one of them passing over Guam if it continues to develop.
One weather system, Invest 99W, is located 363 nautical miles west of Chuuk; and another, Invest 90W is right behind it at 163 nautical miles southwest of Pohnpei, according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center.
Both weather systems are developing in sea surface temperatures that "are favorable for development," and both "will continue to track westward" as they develop.
"The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours remains low," the JTWC bulletin reads on both systems.
Early global tracking models show Invest 90W passing through or south of Guam if it continues to develop.
