The following comes from a news release from the Guam Department of Labor:
The folks over at Tommy’s Pizza Shoppe in Hagatna donated lunch to the hardworking staff at Guam Department of Labor’s Pandemic Unemployment Assistance center on Wednesday, March 31.
Owner and operator Thomas Rojas, along with partners Rodney Noket and Apryl Fejeran provided hungry staff with 15 classic and signature pizzas and 3 trays of bread pudding.
“Last year 2020 was a difficult year for the island. PUA was essential for many residents’ survival. We just wanted to show appreciation for the tremendous job of the Guam Department of Labor staff,” Rojas said.
“We want to thank the people at Tommy’s for this generous sign of appreciation. My staff works six days a week helping as many people as possible and getting claims ready for payment. This is another great example of how the island comes together to support one another during a crisis,” said Department of Labor Director David Dell’Isola.
