AGO: No police reports yet in Peredo assault case

By Eric Rosario

The Attorney General's Office has yet to receive the police reports detailing what happened that led to the arrest of Customs director Ike Peredo.

Mr. Peredo was arrested by airport police officers, booked, and released following a female Customs officer's complaint that he assaulted her last week.

"As of earlier today, we still had not received police reports," AG's spokeswoman Carlina Charfauros told Kandit this evening.

Sources within Customs say the argument that preceded the alleged assault was regarding Mr. Peredo's reprimand of the officer for contesting the special treatment of some incoming passengers at the airport and allowing those passengers to escape from required quarantine screening.

It has to be said! GPD isn't asking for any Reports on CQA Elk Peredo! Followup by GPD of the 'pari, connections and familia name politrix handbook' is noted by the American Guamanian Public. The communication between the AG office and GPD has phone call, cell call, email communication breakdown. Just saying!
